METHOD 
METHOD Database searches were performed using a "profile-profile" method of
METHOD searching:  A subset of the PDB with less than 35% sequence identity
METHOD to all other members (PDB35) was generated.  Each member of PDB35 subset 
METHOD was searched against the nonredundant database using PSI-BLAST, and the 
METHOD results for each search were stored as a unique profile (the PDB35 
METHOD profile set).  The sequence of T0100 was subsequently searched against 
METHOD the nr database using PSI-BLAST.  Each hit generated in this PSI-BLAST 
METHOD run was used to search against the PDB35 profile set using IMPALA.  A  
METHOD member of the beta helix superfamily was among the top five search hits.  
METHOD These structures are also consistent with the PHD secondary structure
METHOD predition for T0100.
METHOD 
METHOD Primary templates considered were 1bn8_A, 1air, 1idk, and 1qcx_A.
METHOD Numerous sequence alignments to these templates were considered.
METHOD Alignments and templates were assessed using in-house software
METHOD designed to evaluate the likelihood that a pair of interacting residues
METHOD in the template will be substituted to an analogous pair in the
METHOD sequence alignment.  Alignments were also scored based on the prevalence 
METHOD of insertions and deletions within beta strands of the template.
